The Essential plan is for a store that has outgrown the free Basic plan but doesn't need everything in Business. You get unlimited orders, your own domain and the tools to run a growing store, for less than Business.

Essential is $29 USD a month. The pricing page shows the current price.
Essential is billed monthly. To save, you can pay for 3, 6 or 12 months upfront at 10%, 15% or 25% off.
Like every Take App plan, Essential takes no commission on your orders.

These stay on the Business plan ($50 a month):
- Card payments through gateways like Stripe, and other automated payment integrations
- Automated WhatsApp order updates, reminders and broadcasts, and automated emails
- The WhatsApp and Instagram inbox and workflows
- Customer login, membership and rewards
- More stores and staff — Business includes 5 of each
- Removing the Take App logo, custom pages and delivery tracking
- The API, webhooks and third-party integrations
- Priority support
You can move from Essential to Business at any time. You switch as soon as you pay, and the unused time on Essential goes to your prepaid balance.
How to get Essential
- Go to Settings > Billing and click Manage subscription.
- Choose Essential and click Continue.

If you cancel
Your store, products and past orders stay. At the end of the period you've paid for, your store moves back to Basic: the 50-order limit returns, products show one image, and Essential features like your domain and analytics switch off. See Terminate/cancel my subscription plan.
