What is Take App?

Take App is an easy-to-use e-commerce website builder for small businesses. It helps you create online stores that connect directly to WhatsApp, making it easy to sell products, accept payments, arrange delivery, and manage inventory. Take App is loved by all types of business from Retail, F&B, to service, and more.

How does Take App work with WhatsApp?

As an official WhatsApp partner, Take App seamlessly connects your business to WhatsApp. Customers can browse your store, add products to their cart, and send you order details directly through WhatsApp. With WhatsApp API integration, you can create an official WhatsApp store for brand presence as well.

Does Take App have a mobile app?

Yes. Take App offers a mobile app for store owners on iOS and Android. Use it to get order notifications, update order status, send WhatsApp receipts, and manage your store on the go.

Download: Get the Take App mobile app (opens the right store for your device — App Store or Google Play).

What subscription plans does Take App offer?

There are three plans, and no plan takes a commission on your orders:

  • Basic (free) — up to 50 orders per month, unlimited products (no limit on total images, one image per product), and local payment methods such as bank transfer and QR. See Basic Plan Overview for how the order limit works.
  • Essential (paid) — $29 a month. Unlimited orders, multiple images per product, custom domain, delivery fees by distance and weight, CSV import and export, and analytics, SEO and Meta Pixel. See Essential Plan Overview.
  • Business (paid) — $50 a month. Everything in Essential, plus card payments (Stripe and more), WhatsApp automation and broadcasts, Take App logo removal, and multiple stores and staff.

Both paid plans are billed monthly, and you can prepay 3, 6 or 12 months for a discount; Business can also be paid yearly. Compare every feature and see the prices for your country on the pricing page.

Can my store accept credit cards and other payment methods?

Yes, Take App supports a total of 70+ payment methods globally, including credit cards, Paypal, Stripe, Mercado Pago, Xendit, and various local payments. Find out what payments are available in your country from the Payment page. Learn more: Payments Take App also supports Bank Transfer as a payment method, providing additional flexibility for businesses. However, there are regional limitations to consider. For instance, in regions like French Polynesia where Stripe and PayPal are not authorized, card payments, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, are not supported. To ensure smooth payment processing, verify that your chosen payment gateway is authorized and operational in your region. For businesses in areas with limited payment gateway support, alternative methods can be explored to facilitate transactions.

Is Take App available in my country?

Take App is available in over 180 countries, including those in Africa, Latin America, and Asia. It supports a total of 15 languages, making it easy to serve customers in their preferred language. Can I sell in my own currency?

Yes. Take App supports every currency in the world, so whatever your business bills in can be your store currency — every product price, order, invoice, and receipt then shows in it. Set it under Settings > General: Changing store currency.

Store currency is separate from payment methods. The currency is unrestricted; which gateways and local payment methods you can offer depends on your country. See Payment options by countries.

Can I use my own domain with Take App?

Yes. A custom domain is included on both paid plans, Essential and Business, not on the free Basic plan. See Use a domain you already own.

When I need help, how can I get your support?

Once you've created a store, open Support in your dashboard menu: ask the agent, read help articles, or message the support team. Every plan, including Basic, gets support; the Business plan also includes priority support. You can also email us at help@take.app.

Can I track my sales and customer interactions?

Yes. Analytics is included on both paid plans, Essential and Business, so you can track sales, customer interactions, and more to optimize your business strategy.

Can I cancel my subscription plan anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Also, you will still be able to enjoy the benefits of the paid plan until the end of the current billing cycle. See Terminate/cancel my subscription plan.

Is there a limit on the number of products I can list?

No. Every plan, including the free Basic plan, lets you list unlimited products, and there's no limit on how many images you upload in total. On Basic, each product can have one image. To add multiple images to each product, upgrade to a paid plan.

How does payment processing work in Take App?

We support various payment methods including manual and QR payments for the Basic plan, and credit card payments for the Business plan.

Can I manage multiple stores with Take App?

Yes, our Business plan allows the management of multiple stores and provides a clone tool for easy duplication of store setups.

Are there any hidden fees with Take App?

No, we believe in transparency. Your subscription is the only thing you pay Take App: no commission on your sales, and no payment processing fee on any payment method.

The one cost that isn't ours: if you connect a payment gateway such as Stripe or HitPay, that gateway charges its own per-transaction fee at its published rate, and settles the money directly into your account. Take App doesn't add anything on top of it. See Payment processing fee — including how to pass the gateway's fee on to your customers.

Can I customize Take App to fit my business needs?

Yes, Take App is designed with flexibility to cater to different industries such as F&B, retail, and services. For a more tailored experience, visit Take App Templates to explore and choose a store template that best fits your business requirements.

Are there any training resources available for using Take App?

We continually add learning resources, including instructional videos and guides, accessible through Take App Helpdesk.
