Take App

Reservations

View table reservations in Admin and share your public booking link. Customers book at take.app/your-store/reserve (or your custom domain).

For the older Table Booking product (retiring), see Booking. To sell appointments or stays as products, see Booking products.

Find Reservations

  1. Go to Admin > Dine-in > Reservations.
  2. Dine-in is an expandable group with QR ordering and Reservations (New).

View the book

The list defaults to all dates. Use it like Orders:

  • Open More filters for a date range.
  • Search by guest name, phone, or table.
  • Filter by status.
  • Open a row for a read-only detail page: guest, table, notes, booking source, and phone / WhatsApp / customer links.
  • Dates and times use your store timezone, including overnight end times.

You cannot create or edit reservations from web Admin yet — detail is view-only.

On the Reservations header, click Share link to copy the public /reserve URL. If your store has an active custom domain, the link uses that domain. You'll see the usual Copied confirmation.

Share link only appears when the storefront can take bookings: at least one table and opening hours that include a selectable hour or half-hour slot (for example, 10:00 or 10:30).

Set up tables and hours

Reservations need:

  1. Tables — add them under Admin > Dine-in > QR ordering. See Dine-in and table QR ordering.
  2. Opening hours — set them in the Take App mobile app under Settings > Reservations.

When the book is empty and setup is incomplete, Admin shows guidance with Go to tables (opens QR ordering) and a reminder that hours are set in the mobile app.

If setup is incomplete, the store is disabled or archived, or hours have no bookable slots, Share link stays hidden and an empty book shows a short hint instead. Existing reservations stay visible even if setup later becomes incomplete.
