Customer Login with WhatsApp

We’re excited to announce a significant improvement to the customer login process! Previously, customers had to log in using their email address to view their order history. However, we’ve learned that many customers don’t always have easy access to their email or may forget which email they used. To make things more convenient, we’re updating the customer login process to use WhatsApp instead.

What’s New

Login via WhatsApp: Customers will be able to log in using their phone number. Upon login, they will instantly receive their membership details via WhatsApp, along with access to their order history.

Important Notice

Business Plan Required: Due to the increased cost associated with sending WhatsApp messages, this feature will be available only on the Business plan starting from October 9, 2024. Current premium users will continue to have access until this date, after which an upgrade will be necessary to maintain functionality.

Action Required

Please ensure you upgrade to the Business plan by October 9, 2024, if you wish to continue using the customer login feature. To upgrade, navigate to Settings > Billing > Change plan

Timeline

• September 30, 2024: The new customer login feature will be launched. Existing premium plan stores will have access to use this feature.
• October 9, 2024: Only stores on the Business plan will be able to use the new customer login feature

• Private Store: Create a private storefront accessible only to approved members.
• Customer Self-Management: Customers can now update their membership information (e.g., birthday, email) directly through WhatsApp.
