How do I create a UPI QR code with an amount?

Enter your UPI ID and name, then type the amount. The QR code updates as you type. When the customer scans it, their UPI app opens with your name and the amount filled in.

Which apps can scan it?

Any UPI app, including Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and bank apps, because the code follows the standard UPI payment link format.

Can I leave the amount empty?

Yes. Without an amount, the customer enters it themselves — useful for a QR code printed on your counter.

Will I be notified when the customer pays?

Not by this tool. The payment goes directly from the customer's bank to yours, and your UPI or bank app shows it. Always check it has arrived before handing over the order.

Is my UPI ID stored anywhere?

No, unless you choose to save it on this device for next time. Nothing is sent to Take App's servers.

A UPI QR code lets customers pay you by scanning with any UPI app — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or their bank's app. Enter your UPI ID (the address with an @, like yourshop@okaxis) and the name to show, then add an amount and a note such as the order number if you want the customer to pay an exact figure. Show the QR on your phone, print it for your counter, or download it and send it with an invoice. The code is built from the standard upi://pay format in your browser, and your details are only saved on your device if you choose to. This tool does not confirm payments: check your UPI app or bank to see that the money has arrived. To collect UPI payments with every order automatically, set up a Take App store.
