Track Take App storefront events with Snapchat Pixel. Save your Pixel ID in Admin and Take App loads the pixel on your storefront — there is nothing else to install.
Find your Snapchat Pixel ID
- Log in to Snapchat Ads Manager and open Events Manager — Learn how.
- If you do not have a pixel yet, create a new web event source (see Snap’s Pixel Set Up Tool guide). Your Pixel ID is a UUID (for example
12345678-1234-1234-1234-123456789012). - Copy the Snapchat Pixel ID.
Setup your Snapchat Pixel in Take App
- Go to Settings > SEO and Trackings.
- Open the Snapchat card, paste your Snapchat Pixel ID, and click Save.
The ID must be a valid UUID. An invalid format is rejected with “Enter a valid Snapchat Pixel ID”.
In countries that require cookie consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland, South Africa), Snapchat Pixel loads only after the visitor accepts marketing cookies. See Cookie consent.
Events we send to your Snapchat Pixel
Once your Pixel ID is saved, your storefront sends these Snapchat events on its own — there is nothing else to set up.

VIEW_CONTENT still sends variant IDs when a product has variants (so Snap can match your catalog), but it counts as one item (number_items = 1).
PURCHASE fires when the order is placed, whether or not it was paid online — an order over WhatsApp or cash on delivery counts the same as a card payment. It includes the order id as transaction_id and client_dedup_id for deduplication, and the price in major currency units. Orders you create or edit yourself in Admin are not reported.
Snapchat Pixel does not receive a payment-status / payment-outcome event. Snap only accepts numbered custom events for that kind of signal, so Take App does not send one (unlike Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel).
