Dine-in Ordering (previously called QR Ordering) gives you one QR code that customers scan at your offline store to open your menu and place an order. Print it or display it anywhere customers are: entrance, counter, pickup area, retail shelf, or open seating. You can also create a QR code per table, so orders arrive tagged with the table they were placed from.
Dine-in Ordering is currently in Beta. You'll find it in your admin menu under Dine-In. For now, orders use Pay at counter only.

Open your dine-in menu from the POS app
If you use the Take App POS app on your phone, you can now open your dine-in order menu directly from the app — no need to look up the link in admin first.
- Open the Take App POS app on your phone.
- Go to Settings → Online store / QR menu → QR order menu.
- Your dine-in ordering menu opens in the browser. Staff can preview or share the experience with customers on the spot.
A QR code per table
Table QR builds on the dine-in QR code: each table gets its own code, and orders come in tagged with the table they were placed from.
-
In Dine-In, click
+Add tableand add as many tables as you need, then download the QR code for each one. Each table's QR opens your menu with that table attached (link format:take.app/menu?tableId=xxxx).
-
When a customer scans a table's QR and orders, the order is created with the customer name shown as the table (for example, "Table 01"). No customer account is created.
-
You can see which table placed each order, and when.
Ordering by multiple people at the same table through a single QR code is not fully supported yet.
