On a tablet, Reservations shows a floor plan of your tables so you can match the room layout. Phones do not show the floor pane.
You need tables set up first — in the app under Settings → Tables, or in Admin under Dine-in and table QR ordering.
Work the floor plan
Tap a table on the floor to open its card: how many seats it has, and what it has booked today.
- Tap a booking in the day list and its table lights up on the floor, with the same card. Tap the row again, or the booking's line in the card, to open the booking itself.
- Seat walk-in opens a booking already seated at that table, starting now. A walk-in needs no guest name or phone.
- Add reservation from a table's card is also a guest already in front of you, so name and phone stay optional. Add reservation from the day list is a booking taken ahead and requires both, so you can call the guest back.
- Changing the day clears the highlight.
On a phone there is no floor pane, so tapping a booking opens it straight away.
Read the table status
Before seating a walk-in, check the table's colour and tap it to see the next booking time.
| Legend | Table appearance | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Seated now | Green | Guests are seated at the table. |
| Next within 1h | Blue with a thick outline | The next booking starts within an hour, or its start time has passed and it has not ended. |
| Booked | Pale blue with a thin outline | The table has a booking more than an hour away. Check the time before seating another party. |
| Free | White | No seated guests or remaining bookings hold this table on the selected day. |
A seated table stays green even if another booking is coming up, so open its card to check the next arrival. Past days show plain tables without the status legend; tap a table to see its booking history.
Open arrange mode
- Open Reservations on a tablet.
- Tap Arrange tables. The room opens full screen.
- Drag each table on the grid. Tables stay inside the room bounds, and snap to line up with their neighbours — guide lines show when they are aligned.
Add, edit and delete tables
Inside arrange mode:
- Add table puts a new table on the floor.
- Tap a table to set its seats — how many people it takes.
- Delete removes a table, with a confirmation first.
You can also add tables in Admin under Dine-in and table QR ordering.
Shape and rotation
- Tap a table on the floor.
- Choose Rectangle or Round.
- Tap Rotate 90° to turn the table.
Table names and booking labels stay upright. Chairs move with the table shape.
Save or cancel
- Tap Done to save the layout.
- Tap Cancel to discard your changes. If you have unsaved moves, you are asked before they are thrown away.
- A layout must keep at least one table, so you cannot save an empty floor.
