Take App

Prohibited products: what you can't sell on Take App

You are responsible for what you sell on Take App, including making sure it follows the laws and regulations that apply to you.

These rules come from our Terms of Service (section 4.2).

What you can't sell or do

Using Take App for anything illegal is not allowed. That includes, but isn't limited to:

  • Prohibited or dangerous items — illegal, restricted or harmful goods such as drugs, weapons, explosives or other controlled substances
  • Counterfeit or unauthorized goods — fake, pirated or unauthorized products
  • False or misleading listings — inaccurate or deceptive information about what you sell
  • Scams and fraud — phishing, scamming or any other fraudulent activity
  • Forgery and identity theft — impersonating others or forging documents
  • Hacking — malware, hacking or unauthorized access
  • Content that breaks the law — or that breaks someone else's rights, such as their copyright or trademark

This list is not complete. If something is illegal or restricted where you sell, don't sell it on Take App.

What Take App can do

Take App can remove or reject products and services on its platform. Most product problems start with someone outside Take App — such as a regulator or the owner of a brand or copyright. When we can, we'll let you know and give you tools to handle it, but resolving it is your responsibility.

Your store, your responsibility

Take App is not a marketplace. When a customer orders from your store, the sale is between you and that customer — you are the seller. Show your contact details, refund policy and how you fulfil orders on your store.

Report a store

If you see a store selling something it shouldn't, or copying your brand or products, choose Issue with another store on the contact form.
