Take App

Order email from your own domain

Business 플랜 필요 플랜 비교하기

Order notification email goes out from Take App's address. Connect Resend and it goes out from yours instead — orders@yourdomain.com rather than a Take App sender — so what lands in your customer's inbox carries your business name.

What you need

  1. A Resend account.
  2. A domain you own, added and verified in Resend under Domains. See Resend's domain guide.
  3. A Resend API key, created under API Keys.

Connect Resend

  1. Go to Admin > Settings > Integrations and open Resend.
  2. Paste your API key.
  3. Enter the sender email you want to send from, for example orders@yourdomain.com. It has to be on the domain you verified in Resend.
  4. Click Connect.

Take App checks the key and the domain when you save. If the domain isn't verified yet, the form tells you so — Resend's own message, such as "The yourdomain.com domain is not verified" — instead of the email failing later at a customer's order.

Which emails move to your address

  • Order notification to you
  • Order notification to your customer
  • Low stock alert
  • Staff assigned to an order

Your store name still shows in front of the address, so a customer sees Your store <orders@yourdomain.com>.

Which emails stay on Take App's address

Login, billing and other account email always comes from Take App. If your Resend key is rotated or expires, you can still sign in and manage your subscription.

If Resend rejects a message

Take App sends it from its own address instead, so an order notification is never lost because of a key or domain problem. Fix the credentials in Settings > Integrations > Resend and the next email goes out from your domain again.

Emails sent through Resend count towards your email usage exactly as before.
