At Jun’s Butchery, we bring authentic Korean BBQ and Japanese Yakiniku cuts to customers in Singapore. With Take App, we’ve made it easier for our customers to order their favourite meats.
What makes us different from other butcheries is our strong focus on these two specialities. We are the first and only Korean-Japanese style butchery in Singapore specialising in both.
I’m Jun, and I have over 14 years of experience in the butchery industry in Singapore, starting long before I established Jun’s Butchery. Over the years, I have built extensive knowledge of Korean and Japanese styles of meat preparation, especially cuts for Korean BBQ and Japanese Yakiniku.
This experience is at the heart of Jun’s Butchery. We focus not only on providing high-quality meats, but also on preparing the right cuts and offering friendly, personalised service to our customers.
Before Take App, I had no experience running an online store. I looked at several different platforms, and Take App seemed like one of the easiest and most straightforward options for a beginner, so I decided to give it a try.
Previously, I was taking orders individually through KakaoTalk, LINE, and WhatsApp, which required a lot of manual work. Take App made the whole ordering process much easier and more organised. It also gave me a better way to highlight particular products and made it much easier to run promotions.
It was only after I started using Take App that I discovered Youmin, whom I recognised as one of our customers, was part of the team. I’ve appreciated the Take App team’s support and willingness to listen to our feedback and suggestions. It was also nice to know that someone behind the platform had experienced our business from a customer’s perspective.
For other small businesses just starting out, I would say don’t worry too much about having everything perfect from the beginning. Start with something simple and easy to manage, listen to your customers, and keep improving as your business grows. That’s very much how we’ve grown as well.
