2024 was a year of remarkable growth at Take App. We welcomed 100k+ new registrations from 150+ countries and processed over 1M orders. Here's a recap of what we achieved.

Global Expansion  
We expanded our global reach with support for 10 languages, including French, Indonesian, and Spanish.  

We introduced 30+ new payment methods to accept local payments, including Wise, Revolut, SEPA, Mercado Pago, Pagadito, Paystack, DPO, Airtel, MTN, Tap Payment, Instapay, Yoco, WigWag, IkhoKha, DuitNow, Razorpay (Curlec), Payex, QRIS, Pocket Pay, Pix, OXXO, UPI, and more.

Ecommerce for WhatsApp

We expanded our platform to support general e-commerce businesses alongside F&B stores.  

Key improvements included storefront design enhancements such as Saved Cart for returning customers, announcement banners, customer reviews, custom menus, and a dedicated search page.  

We introduced essential e-commerce features like store-wise automatic discounts, membership features, and advanced fulfillment tracking, in-house drivers workflow, low inventory alerts for staff, and WhatsApp reminders for payments, reviews, and delivery schedules.

Enterprise Features  

We scaled our services to meet the demands of enterprise customers with advanced requirements.  

We introduced pay-as-you-go billing for scaling operations, platform API and webhooks for ERP and internal system integrations, and new integrations with Zapier, Shopify, Google Sheets, and Lalamove.  

We launched the official WhatsApp Business Platform integration, enabling verified accounts, auto-replies, and WhatsApp Catalogs.

Enhanced Checkout Flexibility  

We made checkout more versatile and feature-rich. Customers can upload payment proof and provide additional details like pickup locations easily. We added support for map-based delivery using Google or OpenStreetMap and introduced options for service charges, tips, and payment processing fees.  

We enabled payments with store credits and partial payment options.
